New funkle website launched + + + new cushion series launched!

OK, we know we´ve been a little slack at keeping you all updated on what been happening in the world of funkle but we have been busy little bees.
And now we are back with a fresh new website that will be regularly updated AND three new cushion series!

We are very proud to present:

Animalia - tiny insects and fish are beautifully built up to create patterns inspired by a traditional Norwegian handcraft. see here >

Gravenhurst - text inspired by the english musician Gravenhurst is finely embroidered onto pinstriped suiting cloth. see here >

The Power Collection - grand constructions are delicately embroidered onto a selection of rich colours. see here >

Plus the design team here are very excited about working on new products.

But since we´ve been away its been far from quiet.
In November we were in an article in the award winning No.magazine, amongst a whole bunch of young talented Norwegian individuals, under the title 'Norwegian Aesthetics Now' page 92.

Also last november funkle took part in the increasingly popular Pecha Kucha Night at the Design and Arkitecture centre in Osl,o where we presented a short film we made about the adventure of funkle. Go see here >
